Cultivating The Constant

The world has a beginning which can be considered the Mother of the world.
Understand the Mother of the world by knowing her children.
When knowing her children, be sure to keep the Mother close.
And till the end of life, be free of danger.
Close your holes, shut your gate, and till the end of life be free of toil.
Open your holes, meddle with affairs, and till the end of life there will be no rescue.
Discerning the small is called insight.
Guarding the tender is called strength.
Use the returning light to restore the light, without exposing yourself to misfortune.
This is called cultivating the constant.
