Death Place
Translation by Tree Buffalo
You must go out to live, but coming back in means death.
As such, three out of ten people are life’s companions, and three out of ten people are death’s companions.
And some people, over the course of their lives, move their death place.
They are also three out of ten.
Why is this?
Because they all live life’s intensity.
But there is one who is excellent at preserving life.
When traveling the hills, they do not avoid wild buffalos or tigers.
And when entering the battlefield, they do not wear armor or weapons.
Thus, wild buffalo have no place to thrust their horns, tigers have no place to sink their claws, and soldiers have no place to lodge their blades.
Why is this?
Because they have no death place.
