Yield To Be Complete
Translation by Tree Buffalo
Yield to be complete.
Bend to be straight.
Empty to be full.
Exhaust to renew.
Reduce to benefit.
Complicate to confuse.
This is how the wise person holds on to the one, and by doing so becomes an example for the many.
By not showing themselves, they shine.
By not justifying themselves, they distinguish.
By not being arrogant, they endure.
Only because they do not compete can nothing in the world compete with them.
It was ancient people who said “yield to be complete.”
These were not empty words.
True completeness restores everything.
