Some in the military have a saying:

I do not dare act the host, but would rather act the guest.

I do not dare advance an inch, but would rather retreat a foot.

This is called stepping without stepping, grabbing without arms, charging without attacking, and holding without weapons.

Because there is no greater disaster than making light of the enemy.

Making light of the enemy risks losing my inner treasure.

This is why when equally matched armies face each other, the one who yields will conquer!
