Way of the Wise
Translation by Tree Buffalo
Sincere words are not fine-sounding, and fine-sounding words are not sincere.
Those who say do not know, and those who know do not say.
Being aware of something is not all-encompassing knowledge.
All-encompassing knowledge does not know.
Thus, the wise person does not accumulate stuff.
The more they do for others, the more they have for themselves.
Having shared themselves with the people, they grow richer.
Because the way of Nature helps without harming.
And the way of the wise accomplishes without competing.
